The Professional Board of Hypnotherapy has been formed as a voluntary membership organization to provide a service of networking, education, and marketing for our member therapists.

The Professional Board of Hypnotherapy has been set up to fill a void in Canada and abroad that of providing an ‘inclusive' voluntary membership organization in which all trained practitioners of hypnosis: lay hypnotists, para-professional hypnotherapists, and professionals from other disciplines, and other interested trained hypnotherapists and students can benefit from being involved in a network individuals interested in the ethical practice of hypnosis.

As our membership increases the Professional Board of Hypnotherapy plans to expand its services by providing training, registered training institutions, marketing, networking, increased internet presence, conventions, local meetings and chapters.

This organization is designed to bring individuals together for the purpose of ‘self-regulating' ourselves by providing ethical standards to practitioners of hypnosis in Canada and abroad who wish to hold themselves to a high standard of ethics.

Our goal and intent is to recognize and promote the profession of hypnosis, as a profession unto itself, which can be, and is practiced by a diverse group of individuals with diverse educations and backgrounds.
