What is Hypnotherapy

"Patients are patients because they are out of rapport with their own unconscious...Patients are people who have had too much programming - so much outside programming that they have lost touch with their inner selves."
- Dr. Milton Erickson, 1976

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic process that uses the power of hypnosis. Hypnotherapy is a widely long accepeted method for helping people make therapeutic changes. All long term change and learning does not occur consciously. Any effective process relies on communicating with the unconscious or subconscious mind. Clinical hypnotherapy is a medically recognised process designed to produce desired states that are more responsive to beneficial suggestions and treatments. It is in this state, many call trance, that the creative parts of our mind begin to utilize the suggestions given to stimulate the desired learning and postive change.
