Master (Teacher)
This course is for individuals whose path or life's journey is
leading them to be a teacher of the healing art of Reiki. The
desiring Reiki Master feels the call and has the willingness to
enter into this relationship of initiator, mentor, and teacher.
At Bennett/Stellar University, the training
to become a Reiki Master is a complete and comprehensive self/other
healing program. You will learn how to teach and attune
others in the art of Reiki levels I, II & Master. However,
the subjects taught in the required courses of study in Bennett/Stellar
University's program go well beyond most Reiki Master Courses
available today, and reflect the kind of commitment traditionally
demanded.
This program, taught by Reiki Master Michael
Bennett, provides the student with the personal healing
and development considered important by many of the masters. It
is also a comprehensive healing program that teaches the student
the skills of spiritual healing masters. These skills include
but are not limited to: healing communication skills, handling
and transforming emotional responses resulting from the Reiki,
developing and delivering Therapeutic Metaphor, gathering essential
client related information, overcoming unconsciously motivated
resistance to healing, and specialized teaching skills.
When observing highly successful healers,
the ones facilitating miracles in their client's lives,
they know how to use and direct energy. In other words, these
healers know the power of the mind-using intent of the mind to
use and direct the energy. You may have heard the phrase "Energy
flows where attention goes". This concept is apparent in
various healing methods and spiritual disciplines that support
miraculous healing. From Shaman to Buddhists, and most in between,
they all know that the mind effects and influences energy. In
Christianity it is called "faith". The word "faith"
is not used to define specific individual beliefs rather it means
the mind state of believing without doubt. Bennett/Stellar University
includes this important mental development and training in this
program.
Reiki Master History and Requirements:
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means
"God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life
force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided
life force energy." Makao Usui of Japan re-discovered the
healing art he called Reiki from a healing discipline he found
in 2500 year old Tibetan Sanskrit's. Makao Usui passed this healing
art along to his apprentice and the first Reiki Master Chujiro
Hayashi.
All information about Reiki has come to
us through Mrs. Hawayo Takata who learned the system of
Reiki in Japan in 1935 directly from Chujiro Hayashi. Mrs. Takata
taught as many as 22 Reiki Masters before she passed away and
made her transition in 1980. The twenty-two Masters continued
to teach and eventually began initiating other Masters.
In the Makao Usui system of Reiki, The original Reiki system,
Phyllis Lei Furumoto, who received her Reiki Mastership directly
from Mrs. Takata and is considered the current Grand
Master of Reiki, has stated these requirements to become
a Reiki Master:
"The
initiating Master and student must realize that this is a lifelong,
committed relationship within the Usui System."
"The Reiki Master has been called to continue the study of
Reiki through the path of mastery. The development of the Master's
practice occurs through the teaching of the first and second degree
classes and through the public declaration of the practice. "
"A Reiki Master has received the training and initiation
to teach first and second degree classes in the Usui System of
Reiki Healing. The training, preparation and initiation as a Reiki
Master have come from a Reiki Master who has extensive living
and teaching experience as a Master in the Usui System of Reiki
Healing."
"A Reiki Master who practices the Usui System of Reiki Healing
has completed the steps of commitment outlined in the form. These
include payment of the $10,000 US fee, being initiated by a Master
in the direct spiritual lineage, using the daily living principles
as a moral guide, and recognizing the life-long relationship with
Reiki and with the initiating Master."
The
Skills of The Master Healer
Bennett/Stellar University's instructor and Reiki Master, Michael
Bennett, is a descendent the revered Reiki lineage of Mrs. Furumoto
and has great respect for the title of Reiki Master. Until recently
Michael has resisted offering the Reiki Master course except in
very special cases. He has agreed to offer this course to those
students who have demonstrated they have successfully completed
the above requirements.
While we do not charge the high training
fee in the above statements, we believe in adhering to
the spirit of the Reiki Master training requirements. This is
why in order to become a certified Reiki Master from Master Michael
Bennett at Bennett/Stellar University the student must first attend
the first 15 days of our 16 day Master Neuro-Linguistic Hypnotherapy™/Reiki
Master training program. The 16th day of this training specifically
addresses the Reiki Master attunements.

disciplines inherit in almost all healing modalities in our Neuro-Linguistic
Hypnotherapy®/Reiki Master training program. This program

Clinical and Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Health
and Success Coach.

Hypnotherapy/Reiki Master serves the student desiring to become

In this course, the student will resolve issues from their past,
be in more control of their emotions, learn how to work with
